What You Have to Control in Order to SLOW Aging and Boost Immunity

The survey questionnaire I use as a basis to understand the habits of my private clients in order to formulate a routine is focused on the following areas of quotidian life:

• Food sources
• Eating schedule
• Frequency of eating at restaurants, ordering in
• Cooking habits
• Alcohol, recreational, pharmaceutical, homeopathic drug habits
• Use of vitamins and supplements
• Cookware and food/drink storage types
• Use of microwave
• Use of plastic at home
• Water source and home filtration
• Home cleaning products
• Personal care, bath, cosmetic, beauty products
• Bedroom – electronic devicess, TV, darkness of room, type of mattress, cleanliness
• Electromagnetic Fields in/near your home/life – radiation exposure
• Detoxifying the body on a regular basis – colonics and cleanses
• Family health history
• Exercise routine and frequency
• Stress levels and management – massage, therapy, acupuncture, meditation, touch
• Spirituality and connectedness – giving back to the world
• Love – friends, pets, children

Vitamins – Are you Married or Divorced? Can They Help Prevent Aging?

I believe in taking vitamins to supplement an inconsistent or questionable diet.   What I mean by that is if you are working non-stop or traveling or don’t have a well rounded diet that is composed of organic, ‘appropriately cooked’ (i.e. not heated in plastic, or grilled, or microwaved or cooked in a non –stick pan, or cooked to death… etc.) then you should supplement with vitamins and/or nutraceuticals.  If you are certain of your food sources, don’t eat out frequently and take time to plan meals and oversee the cookware, cooking and the shelf life of what you eat I don’t believe you need vitamins. Power Foods can cause explosions of pleasure in our mouths while making our skin firmer and plumper at the same time.  If you are serious about anti-aging you are going to have to be more vigilant about what you eat – and where you eat. (Since where is linked to the what!).  Even in the best restaurants you have no idea where the food is coming from and if it is organic or wild – or, more likely, polluted and farm-raised i.e rife with antibiotics etc.

The solution? Cook more.  Yes, you are going to have to start going to the market, buying new knives and a blender – and, if you are really serious, a juicer.
